music sucks

is it just me or is there absolute crap on the airwaves these days? with 12 presets in the car and 120 some-odd on XM, i can't find a damn thing to listen to. these days i'm hitting my cd collection more and more often trying to not become pissed at the very limited taste of the dj's. just yesterday on my drive home from work, i flipped on the XM. channel 22 had a song by 'baby bash' that really annoys me. i traversed the circuit of channels that i normally listen to and come to channel 67...baby bash...again. i'm now aggravated at the XM gods for playing the same crappy song on two different stations so i mash the power button and flip to B96. you guessed it, baby bash.

i put on my elvis sunglasses and the ray charles cd and instantly felt better. the look from the guy in the pickup next to me as i rocked out certainly helped that.
