the death of money
i'm an engineer by training, a retailer by trade, and a finance geek at heart. ever since i was 8 years old and up until i was 22, my dad and I would watch wall street week with louis rukeyser every sunday at 2pm. with the exception of when i was away at college, it was rare that we missed one. he went off the air a while back and his show was being guest hosted by a whole slew of people from cnbc. it just wasn't the same and i quit watching (unless maria bartiromo was hosting...that woman is smokin'). well, i hadn't heard anything from the rukeyser camp in a while and tonight, i surfed on over the www.rukeyser.com only to learn that he had passed away in may. is it odd that i'm actually saddened by this? outside of my dad, he's the only person who taught me about one of my favorite subjects.
